Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist surgeons and circulating nurses during a variety of surgical operations
  • Prepare and maintain sterile field in the operating room, ensuring proper instrument setup and supplies
  • Pass surgical instruments and supplies to surgeon and surgical assistants
  • Assist with patient positioning, draping, and transport before and after procedures
  • Uphold exceptional standards for infection control and surgical asepsis
  • Accurately track instruments, sponges, and sharps throughout procedures
  • Maintain clear, effective communication with perioperative team members

Desired Qualifications:

  • Direct experience as an Operating Room Technician (ORT) or Surgical Tech
  • Proficiency in sterile technique and OR protocols
  • Ability to remain composed in fast-paced surgical settings
  • Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal and teamwork abilities
  • Non-certified Surgical Techs with relevant experience are encouraged to apply
  • Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred
