Operating Room Technician in Livingston, MT

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Current certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) required
• Proven clinical skills in the operating room environment
• Experience with sterile technique and surgical instrumentation
• Familiarity with preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative patient care
• Ability to anticipate the needs of surgeons and assist in a fast-paced setting
• Strong commitment to patient safety and high-quality care
• Excellent teamwork, communication, and organizational skills
• Nursing-ORT training or relevant professional experience is highly preferred

Primary Responsibilities:

• Prepare operating rooms for surgical procedures, ensuring all necessary equipment and instruments are sterile and ready
• Assist surgeons, registered nurses, and other team members throughout surgical operations
• Monitor and maintain sterile fields, adhering strictly to infection control protocols
• Count supplies, sponges, and instruments before, during, and after procedures
• Handle specimens and documentation according to facility guidelines
• Provide post-operative assistance as needed, maintaining patient comfort and safety
• Support efficiency and smooth workflow within the surgical suite

$2,322 - $2,448/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
