Travel Operating Room Technician in Louisville, KY

This travel nursing role provides exposure to high-acuity surgical cases, with opportunities to collaborate alongside seasoned professionals and experience different leadership and operational styles. Schedule:

• Orientation: Full week with options—3 days (06:30-19:00), 4 days (06:30-17:00), or 3 days (10:30-23:00)
• Weekend rotation and holiday shifts as per unit needs
• On-call duties required; 40-minute response time
• Schedules set in 6-week increments

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of recent experience (no first-time travelers)
• For RNs: Active RN license and BLS certification; circulating experience, Foley catheter, AED, and chest tube management
• For Techs: Active CST and BLS certifications; proficiency in the listed cases
• Preferred: Experience with DaVinci robotics

Responsibilities:

• Scrub and circulating roles supporting vascular, neurohybrid, thoracic, transplant, and more
• Ensure patient safety and efficiency across all surgical procedures
• Utilize advanced EMR and unit-specific technology (Cernero, Omnicell, Bovie, Plum IV pumps, DaVinci system)
• Float to provide break coverage as needed within the OR
