Operating Room Technician in Marietta, GA

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as an ORT or Surgical Technologist (certified or non-certified)
• Proficiency in setting up operating rooms and sterile fields
• Solid understanding of surgical instrumentation and aseptic techniques
• Ability to anticipate the needs of the surgical team during procedures
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Certification as a Surgical Technologist a plus, but non-certified candidates with hands-on experience are welcome
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification strongly preferred

Responsibilities:

• Prepare operating rooms and ensure all surgical instruments and equipment are sterile and ready for use
• Assist surgeons and nurses during procedures, passing instruments and maintaining a safe, efficient environment
• Monitor and maintain aseptic technique throughout surgeries
• Safely handle specimens and document operative data as required
• Clean and restock ORs following procedures for maximum safety and cleanliness
• Collaborate with surgical, anesthesia, and nursing teams to optimize patient outcomes
