Qualifications & Experience:

• Current certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) is required
• Demonstrated proficiency in all aspects of the operating room, particularly sterile technique
• At least one year of recent experience as either an operating room technician (ORT) or surgical technologist
• Ability to function collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment
• Strong critical thinking and organizational skills
• Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare the operating room and surgical instruments for procedures
• Assist surgeons, nurses, and other staff during surgeries to ensure patient safety and workflow efficiency
• Maintain strict adherence to sterile and aseptic techniques
• Safeguard accurate instrument counts before and after procedures
• Support patient care throughout preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative phases
• Maintain equipment and report repairs when necessary
