Travel Operating Room Technician | Mckeesport, Pennsylvania

This role is perfect for a reliable Nursing ORT or Surgical Technologist—certified or non-certified—interested in operating room exposure and dynamic responsibilities. As part of a dedicated six-person team (three RNs, three Scrubs), you’ll cover two orthopedics operating rooms Monday through Friday. Experience the satisfaction of seeing cases through to completion, all while building valuable skills through exposure to a supportive yet fast-paced clinical environment.

Schedule/Hours:

• Daylight shifts: rotating weekly (5:30am-2:00pm, 6:30am-3:00pm, 7:30am-finish—typically 4:00-4:30pm, depending on elective cases or add-ons)
• Weekend Call: 6:00am-6:00pm, two weekends within a six-week block (not a busy call)
• No weeknight call, but 7:30am-shift stays until all cases are completed, occasionally requiring 1-2 hours past scheduled finish.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with preparation and turnover of orthopedic OR cases.
• Scrub or circulate as needed, supporting surgeons and nursing colleagues.
• Maintain aseptic technique and ensure safe surgical environments.
• Flexibly stay past scheduled shift for case completion when required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience as a Nursing ORT or Surgical Technologist (certified or non-certified).
• Prior orthopedics or surgical experience strongly desired.
• Strong commitment to teamwork and excellent communication skills.
• Flexibility for staying as late as needed for case completion.
