Operating Room Technician in Millbrook, AL

Skilled professionals in perioperative care are needed for an exciting contract opportunity. This position requires surgical techs—both certified and non-certified—as well as OR-trained nurses to support a dynamic surgical team. Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Experience as a Surgical Technologist (certified or non-certified), or OR-trained Nurse
• Proficiency in preparing operating rooms and surgical instruments
• Demonstrated ability to adhere to aseptic technique and infection control protocols
• Effective communicator with strong attention to detail
• Commitment to high-quality patient care

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare surgical suites and ensure proper functioning of all equipment
• Assist during surgical procedures by passing instruments, anticipating needs, and supporting the surgical team
• Count supplies and instruments before and after procedures for accountability
• Monitor patient safety and adhere to established protocols
• Maintain accurate documentation regarding procedures and instrumentation
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and nursing staff to optimize patient outcomes
