Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience as a Nursing - ORT, Surgical Tech - Non-certified, or Surgical Tech - Certified
• Current certification as a Surgical Technologist is preferred but not required for all positions
• Thorough knowledge of sterile techniques, surgical instruments, and operating room procedures
• Ability to maintain composure and efficiency in high-pressure, fast-paced settings
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety

Responsibilities:

• Prepare operating rooms and ensure all necessary surgical instruments and equipment are sterile and ready for use
• Assist surgeons and nurses during procedures by passing instruments and maintaining a sterile field
• Monitor supplies and equipment, anticipating needs throughout the surgery
• Support proper patient positioning, draping, and site preparation in collaboration with medical staff
• Assist with post-procedure clean-up and safe disposal of materials
• Maintain accurate counts of instruments, sponges, and supplies
