Advance your career as a Surgical Technologist or Certified OR Tech and contribute to exceptional patient care in a dynamic operating room setting. This contract opportunity offers a 10-hour day shift schedule (7a-5p, 40 hours per week) with on-call responsibilities—typically 6-9 call shifts per month, including holidays and weekend rotations.

Key Qualifications:

  • At least 2 years of experience in a General Operating Room; minimum 5 years’ experience for Cardiovascular OR assignments
  • Completion of an accredited Surgical Technologist program required; Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential is strongly preferred
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required
  • Comfort with a wide range of surgical procedures: general, ortho, neurosurgery, plastics, robotics, and cardiovascular surgeries
  • Flexibility regarding call and weekend/holiday rotation requirements
  • Candidates with prior CVOR experience are especially encouraged, but highly experienced first-time travelers will be considered

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare operating rooms with all necessary equipment and supplies before procedures
  • Support surgeons throughout a variety of cases—GYN, ortho, neuro, plastics, cardiovascular, and more
  • Maintain strict adherence to aseptic techniques and surgical safety protocols
  • Handle instruments and supplies efficiently, anticipating surgeons’ needs
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation using EPIC Optime (Intraop)
  • Respond to emergency and urgent cases as scheduled during on-call shifts
