Operating Room Technician - Nampa, Idaho

Your role is key in ensuring smooth, safe operations in a busy perioperative setting.

Schedule/Hours:

• 0645-1715, 4 days per week
• 0-2 stay-late call shifts per week (1715-1915)
• 1-3 additional 12-hour call shifts in a 6-week period (7a-7p or 7p-7a on weekends/holidays)

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Current certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) required
• Background in Operating Room Technology (ORT) a must
• Previous experience assisting surgical teams in fast-paced settings
• Knowledge of sterile techniques and surgical instrumentation
• Adaptability to rotating shifts and call requirements
• Effective communication skills and a collaborative work style

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and organize surgical instruments and supplies for operations
• Assist surgeons, anesthesiologists, and nurses during procedures
• Uphold aseptic and sterile protocols throughout surgical cases
• Efficiently handle and account for surgical tools before, during, and after procedures
• Ensure patient safety and procedural accuracy at all times
• Respond promptly and professionally to emergency and on-call situations
