Travel Operating Room Technician - New Hartford, NY

This position delivers professional growth through hands-on experience in a trauma setting, including neuro and robotic cases using state-of-the-art equipment like the DaVinci robot. Schedule:

• Four 10-hour shifts per week: 7:00 am – 5:30 pm
• On-call responsibilities included
• One weekend shift per month required

Qualifications:

• Certified Surgical Technologist (NBSTSA or NCCT, or grandfathered based on experience)
• Minimum of 2 years’ scrub experience in an operating room setting
• Demonstrated trauma and neuro surgery experience required
• Current BLS certification
• Experience assisting with general, neuro, and robotic surgeries (DaVinci robot preferred)
• Familiarity with Epic EMR system is beneficial

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare operating rooms, surgical equipment, and instruments for procedures
• Serve as a vital member of the surgical team, assisting with pediatric and adult cases
• Maintain strict adherence to safety and sterilization protocols
• Participate in trauma and neuro cases while adapting to rapidly changing situations
• Document procedures and communicate effectively within a multidisciplinary care team
