Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain sterile fields for surgical procedures, adhering to strict infection control protocols
- Assist surgeons and circulating nurses during operations by passing instruments, supplies, and equipment
- Anticipate the needs of the surgical team, demonstrating keen attention to detail and quick reflexes
- Handle and appropriately count surgical instruments, sponges, and sharps pre- and post-procedure
- Ensure proper sterilization and maintenance of equipment before and after each use
- Support patient positioning, draping, and prepping as directed by nursing staff
- Maintain clear, timely communication with the surgical team to guarantee patient safety and care continuity
Qualifications & Experience:
- Previous experience as a Surgical Technologist or Nursing - ORT in an operating room setting
- Valid certification for Surgical Technologist (required only for Certified roles)
- Competency in surgical instrumentation, sterile technique, and perioperative processes
- Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills, with the ability to adapt to fast-paced situations
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to follow complex procedural instructions

$1,331 - $1,408/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
