Operating Room Technician in Perry, GA

Embark on an exciting opportunity as a Certified Surgical Technologist supporting a renowned teaching hospital’s fast-paced main operating room. As a vital member of a collaborative surgical team, you’ll provide critical support during a diverse range of procedures and play a direct role in patient safety and positive surgical outcomes.

Schedule & Hours:

• 10-hour day shifts, 7:00 am – 5:00 pm
• 40 hours weekly
• On-call requirements: 6–9 shifts per month, including weekend and holiday call rotation

Role Qualifications:

• At least 2 years’ experience in a General OR or 5 years’ experience in CVOR
• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program
• National certification (CST) preferred
• BLS certification required
• Proven scrub experience with a range of specialties including general, ortho, orthospine, neuro, cardiovascular, and robotic cases
• Experience working with EMR (EPIC Optime), Alaris IV pumps, Pyxis medication dispensing, and Phillips monitors
• Flexibility regarding shift, call, and holiday requirements
• Team-oriented, adaptable, and committed to high standards of patient care

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with surgeons and nurses to ensure optimal patient care before, during, and after procedures
• Scrub and assist in all surgical specialties: GYN, general, plastics, ENT, orthopedics, neuro, cardiovascular, and more
• Prepare and maintain sterile field, instruments, and supplies in 20-OR suite
• Participate in call shift and holiday coverage as scheduled
• Demonstrate commitment to clinical safety standards and continuous professional development
