• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program or equivalent
• Experience as a Surgical Technologist, either certified or non-certified, or background as an Operating Room Technician (ORT)
• Familiarity with sterile technique and surgical instrumentation
• Strong teamwork, communication, and organizational abilities
• Ability to adapt in a fast-paced, dynamic surgical setting

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain operating rooms, ensuring all equipment and instruments are properly sterilized and available
• Anticipate the needs of the surgical team during procedures to support optimal patient outcomes
• Assist surgeons by passing instruments and supplies, handling specimens, and helping with dressing wounds
• Collaborate with circulating nurses and other team members to ensure patient safety and procedural efficiency
• Maintain detailed and accurate records related to surgical procedures and instrumentation
