Schedule/Hours:

• 12-hour rotating shifts, with days, evenings, and nights required
• All shifts are on a rotation basis
• 36 hours per week (orientation week may vary)
• Weekend and on-call coverage required (weekdays and weekends, including Friday, Saturday, or Sunday)

Key Qualifications:

• Completion of accredited Nursing – ORT program and current certification
• Recent experience in an operating room environment
• Ability to adapt to rotating shifts and maintain a high level of professionalism
• Compliance with facility FLU/COVID vaccination policies (medical/religious declinations accepted)
• Proficient communication and teamwork skills
• Navy blue scrubs required

Primary Responsibilities:

• Support surgeons and operating room staff throughout the perioperative process
• Prepare and maintain the sterile field for surgical procedures
• Handle surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment in accordance with best practices
• Respond quickly and effectively in urgent and high-pressure situations
• Adhere to safety protocols and facility standards
• Document procedures and communicate patient needs to the healthcare team
