Travel Operating Room Technician | Port Orange, Florida

Schedule/Hours:

• 3 shifts of 12 hours (0600-1830) or 4 shifts of 10 hours (0600-1630)
• Required on-call: 1 weekend per month, plus 1-2 weekdays per week as the department needs dictate

Key Qualifications:

• At least one year of experience as a Surgical Technologist in a CVOR environment
• NBSTSA Certification (CST)
• Proficiency in cardiac, vascular, and robotic operative procedures
• Adaptability and strong communication skills in a fast-paced, interdisciplinary team environment
• Ability to fulfill rotating on-call requirements, including some weekends and weekdays

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver expert support before, during, and after surgical procedures primarily in the cardiac, vascular, and robotic specialties
• Maintain strict adherence to sterile field protocols and ensure safety of all surgical equipment
• Anticipate the needs of operating room teams and surgeons for efficient procedure flow
• Contribute to continuous quality improvement processes and maintain detailed surgical logs
• Provide compassionate patient care and foster a supportive surgical environment
