Travel Operating Room Technician - Portland, ME

Work in a distinguished, 26-suite operating room environment supporting leading-edge procedures and learning from some of healthcare’s most respected clinicians. Gain substantial professional growth with exposure to advanced equipment—such as Storz, Stryker, Olympus, and Intuitive Robot systems—and develop new perspectives through collaboration with multidisciplinary teams accustomed to diverse, high-acuity cases.

Schedule/Hours

• 3x12 hour shifts, Days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
• 1:4 weekend rotation (12-hour shifts)
• Overnight trauma call (11:00 PM - 7:00 AM), scheduled according to specialty

Desired Experience & Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of recent operating room surgical tech experience
• Current CST required
• Demonstrated Level 1 trauma experience
• Versatility in specialties such as General, GU/GYN, Orthopedic trauma/joints, Neurosurgery, ENT, Pediatrics, Plastics, Dental, and Endovascular (preferred)
• Proficient with Epic EMR
• Accountable, adaptable, and able to function effectively as a team player

Key Responsibilities

• Scrub and assist in a broad spectrum of complex surgical procedures
• Prepare, organize, and maintain sterile fields
• Collaborate seamlessly with surgeons, RNs, and anesthesia teams
• Adapt to call requirements, including overnight trauma coverage and specified specialty calls
• Follow established infection control and safety practices consistently
