Seeking skilled professionals with experience as Operating Room Technicians (ORT) and Surgical Technologists—both certified and non-certified—to provide crucial support during surgical procedures.

Schedule/Hours:

  • Full-time contract assignment

Key Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a Surgical Technologist or OR Technician in a clinical or hospital setting
  • Recognized certification as a Surgical Technologist preferred, but candidates with relevant experience as non-certified Surgical Techs will also be considered
  • Solid understanding of surgical equipment sterilization, setup, and instrumentation
  • Strong knowledge of operating room protocol, aseptic technique, and patient safety standards
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with perioperative teams, including surgeons, nurses, and anesthesia providers
  • High attention to detail, organization, and the ability to remain calm in fast-paced situations
  • Flexibility and adaptability to the evolving needs of the surgical suite

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Prepare operating rooms, ensuring all surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies are available and sterile
  • Assist the surgical team by anticipating and supplying needed instruments and materials throughout procedures
  • Uphold rigorous infection control, safety, and documentation practices
  • Assist with patient positioning and preparation as directed by surgical staff
  • Maintain a clean and organized environment before, during, and after surgeries
  • Support the postoperative processing of used instruments and supplies
