Step into an integral healthcare role supporting a high-acuity surgical environment on a weekend night shift. This position is ideal for highly skilled surgical technologists or nurses with strong experience in Trauma, Neuro, General, and Vascular specialties. Put your advanced skills to work in a large, modern facility with 492 beds, including a Level II Trauma Center, Level III NICU, and robust surgical offerings.

Schedule/Hours:

  • 12-hour night shifts: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
  • Shift start: 6:30 pm
  • On-call: One day per week (3p–7a), plus one full weekend a month (Friday 3p–Monday 7a)
  • Holiday coverage required per contract

Qualifications:

  • Minimum two years of relevant experience required; no first-year travelers
  • Trauma (excluding burns), Neuro, General, Vascular, ENT, Gyn, urology, plastics, robotics (General/Neuro), and strong experience with robotic technology including DaVinci XI or Mazor is highly desired
  • Certification preferred but not required
  • Must be ready to rotate through a variety of cases, including minimal pediatrics (typically Ortho)
  • Comfortable in a high-stakes, fast-paced setting with 1:1 patient ratio

Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert surgical tech or nurse support for Trauma, Neuro, General, and Vascular procedures
  • Scrub and assist with a diverse case load; be ready for urgent, complex situations
  • Collaborate with a supportive team including OR assistants, desk assistants, FAs, and leadership
  • Maintain accurate records within the Cerner EMR system and safely manage equipment like Plum 360 pumps and Omnicell medication dispensers
  • Adhere to strict infection control protocols, participate in two-week orientation, and take buddy calls during this phase

$1,462 - $1,591/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 36 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
