Schedule/Hours:
- Four 10-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 5:30 PM)
- On-call participation is required
- One weekend per month
Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of recent, relevant operating room and scrub experience
- Prior trauma and neuro surgery experience is essential
- Surgical Tech certification: NBSTSA or NCCT (or eligible via grandfathering)
- Active BLS certification
- Experience operating DaVinci robotic equipment preferred
- Proficient in Epic EMR documentation
- Comfortable with general and robotic surgeries across all ages
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary scrub technician in various surgical procedures
- Adhere to strict aseptic techniques and ensure optimal patient safety
- Prepare operating rooms and instruments, anticipating the needs of the surgical team
- Maintain accurate records and assist with equipment troubleshooting during procedures
