Travel Scrub Tech - Rome, New York

Schedule/Hours:

• Four 10-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 5:30 PM)
• On-call participation is required
• One weekend per month

Desired Experience & Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of recent, relevant operating room and scrub experience
• Prior trauma and neuro surgery experience is essential
• Surgical Tech certification: NBSTSA or NCCT (or eligible via grandfathering)
• Active BLS certification
• Experience operating DaVinci robotic equipment preferred
• Proficient in Epic EMR documentation
• Comfortable with general and robotic surgeries across all ages

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary scrub technician in various surgical procedures
• Adhere to strict aseptic techniques and ensure optimal patient safety
• Prepare operating rooms and instruments, anticipating the needs of the surgical team
• Maintain accurate records and assist with equipment troubleshooting during procedures
