Qualifications & Experience:

• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential required
• Proficiency in OR techniques, including sterile field preparation and instrument handling
• Experience assisting surgeons and other healthcare providers in operative procedures
• Knowledge of infection control standards and surgical safety protocols
• Strong communication abilities and attention to detail
• Previous experience in a hospital operating room is highly valued

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain surgical instruments, equipment, and sterile environments
• Assist surgeons and nursing staff during procedures, ensuring patient safety and adherence to protocols
• Accurately count supplies and instruments before and after each procedure
• Monitor and maintain strict aseptic technique at all times
• Support preoperative and postoperative patient care as directed by the surgical team
• Ensure all equipment is properly set up, functional, and safely stored following procedures
