Qualifications:

• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or Operating Room Technician (ORT) certification required
• Active and unrestricted nursing/tech license, if applicable
• Previous experience working in an operating room setting preferred
• Proficiency in setting up sterile fields and handling surgical instruments
• Strong attention to detail and ability to anticipate needs of the surgical team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated ability to remain calm and organized under pressure

Responsibilities:

• Prepare operating rooms for surgical procedures, including sterilization of instruments and equipment
• Assist surgeons, nurses, and other team members before, during, and after surgery
• Monitor and maintain sterile environments to ensure patient safety
• Handle surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment efficiently and accurately
• Anticipate needs of the surgical team and provide support as required
• Maintain accurate documentation of procedures and inventory
• Adhere strictly to established protocols and regulations

$1,888 - $1,997/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
