Travel Surgical Scrub Tech | Santa Fe, New Mexico

Schedule:

• 4 days each week, 10-hour shifts (6:30 AM – 5:00 PM)
• Blocked scheduling available
• No weekend or on-call requirements (unless you’d like to pick up extra shifts at the main site)
• Floating within Surgical Services may be required

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and care for pre-operative patients, ensuring privacy and comfort
• Maintain strict aseptic techniques throughout the surgical process
• Prepare surgical sites and operating rooms, set up tables, instruments, and supplies
• Scrub proficiently in at least three specialty areas such as Transplants, Open Heart, Urology, Neurology, Robotics, or Titanium Rib
• Pass instruments and assist surgeons under nurse direction
• Ensure equipment and supplies are properly decontaminated, processed, and sterilized
• Monitor and control the surgical environment, maintain safety protocols, and participate in OR sanitation
• Collaborate effectively with the team, contributing to planning and patient care

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology or LVN/LPN program
• BLS certification from AHA (required)
• Certified Surgical Technologist or LVN/LPN license (required)
• At least 2 years of relevant experience preferred
