Expect professional growth as you collaborate with leading surgeons in a 26-bed OR setting, building your resume with high-acuity cases in a Level 1 trauma center. You’ll gain valuable exposure to a diverse caseload including general surgery, orthopedics, neurosurgery, and endovascular procedures, using equipment from Storz, Stryker, Olympus, and the Intuitive Robot. This assignment is perfect for clinicians craving new workplace cultures, leadership styles, and hands-on learning with the latest technologies.

Schedule:

  • 3x12s Days: 7:00 am – 7:00 pm
  • Weekly hours: 48 preferred, 36 acceptable
  • Weekend rotation: 1 in 4 weekends (12-hour shifts)
  • Call: One overnight (11 pm – 7 am); specialty call as assigned

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years’ recent OR surgical tech experience
  • Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential required
  • Proven Level 1 trauma experience
  • Experience in OR environments using Epic EMR
  • Flexible, accountable, punctual, and collaborative attitude

Preferred:

  • Background in General, GU/GYN, Orthopedic trauma/joints, Neurosurgery, ENT, Pediatrics, Plastics, Dental, Endovascular cases

Responsibilities:

  • Assist surgeons and nursing staff during a wide variety of procedures in a fast-paced OR
  • Maintain strict surgical asepsis and patient safety protocols
  • Manage surgical equipment including robotics, endoscopy, and specialty devices
  • Uphold consistent documentation and communication through Epic EMR
