Key Qualifications:

• Active certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) required
• Demonstrated experience as an ORT or in an Operating Room environment
• Strong knowledge of surgical aseptic technique and infection control practices
• Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to anticipate surgical team needs, respond quickly in high-pressure situations, and adapt to changing demands

Role Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain operating rooms for surgery, including setting up instruments, equipment, and sterile supplies
• Assist surgeons and nursing staff by passing instruments and supplies during procedures
• Count sponges, needles, and instruments before and after procedures to ensure accurate inventory
• Maintain a sterile field and adhere strictly to infection control procedures
• Handle specimens properly and document with accuracy
• Collaborate with anesthesia and nursing teams to support optimal patient outcomes
