Schedule/Hours
- 3x12 hour shifts, days (7a-7p)
- 48 hours weekly preferred; 36 hours acceptable
- 1:4 weekend rotation (12 hour shifts)
- One overnight trauma call (11p-7a); additional call varies by specialty team
Qualifications
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) required
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
- Prior Level 1 trauma experience required
- Experience in at least some of the following: General, GU/GYN, Ortho trauma, ortho joints, Neurosurgery, ENT, Pediatrics, Plastics, Dental, Endovascular preferred
- Adaptable, reliable, and dedicated team player
Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain operating rooms and surgical instruments
- Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and other staff to ensure optimal patient care
- Anticipate surgical team needs and respond swiftly in trauma situations
- Maintain infection control standards and ensure equipment is properly stocked and sterilized
- Provide seamless support across diverse surgical specialties
