Travel Operating Room Technician | South Portland, Maine

In this role, you’ll enhance your expertise and broaden your resume through first-hand participation in a Level 1 trauma environment. Working alongside experienced healthcare professionals, expect to engage with cutting-edge equipment like Storz, Stryker, Olympus, and the Intuitive Robot within a 26-bed OR unit. Exposure to diverse workplace practices and leadership approaches will challenge and accelerate your growth, ensuring you return home with new skills and invaluable insights.

Schedule/Hours:

• 7a–7p day shifts
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• 1:4 weekends with 12-hour shifts
• One overnight trauma call (11p–7a); specialty team calls scheduled by rotation

Qualifications:

• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) required
• Minimum 2 years of recent OR experience
• Level 1 trauma experience is essential

Preferred Experience:

• General, GU/GYN, Ortho trauma and joints, Neurosurgery, ENT, Pediatrics, Plastics, Dental, Endovascular

• Deliver excellence in a fast-paced OR with 1:1 patient ratios
• Participate in surgical procedures across a wide variety of specialties
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, demonstrating flexibility, accountability, and timeliness

$1,888 - $1,997/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
