Qualifications:

• Certification as a Surgical Tech (CST) required
• Demonstrated experience in operating room settings with a focus on high standards of patient care
• Current BLS certification (AHA preferred)
• Scrubbing experience in a variety of surgical procedures
• Strong communication, organizational, and critical thinking skills
• Adaptability in fast-paced, collaborative environments

Responsibilities:

• Prepare operating rooms and ensure all necessary equipment and supplies are sterile and ready
• Anticipate the needs of the surgical team during procedures
• Maintain a sterile field throughout the surgery
• Assist with positioning and prepping patients
• Count supplies, instruments, and sponges pre- and post-procedure to maintain safety protocols
• Work closely with RNs, surgeons, and anesthesiologists for optimal patient outcomes
