Responsibilities:

• Prepare operating rooms and surgical instruments according to strict aseptic techniques
• Assist surgeons and nursing staff during procedures by providing required instruments and supplies
• Monitor and maintain the sterile field throughout operations
• Count sponges, needles, and supplies to ensure safety before, during, and after procedures
• Support with equipment setup and ensure all tools are functioning properly pre- and post-operation
• Help transport patients to and from the operating suite while ensuring their comfort
