Operating Room Technician in Stone Mountain, GA

Schedule:

• Four 10-hour shifts per week
• On-call responsibilities included

Key Qualifications:

• Certified Surgical Technologist (preferred, but previous placements did not require certification)
• 2-4 years of recent experience as an ORT or Surgical Technologist
• Strong experience assisting with trauma cases
• Demonstrated proficiency working across orthopedic, neuro, and vascular surgeries
• Ability to collaborate effectively with surgeons, nurses, and other members of the operating room team

Primary Responsibilities:

• Prepare operating rooms and sterile fields for surgical procedures
• Anticipate the needs of the surgical team and provide necessary instruments and supplies
• Ensure strict adherence to infection control and patient safety protocols
• Assist with pre-op and post-op room setup, as well as instrument sterilization
• Respond promptly and efficiently during emergencies and trauma cases
• Support seamless operations during on-call hours as scheduled
• Maintain clear, accurate documentation throughout the surgical process
