Operating Room Technician | Strongsville, Ohio

Step into an essential role supporting operating room procedures as a Certified Surgical Technologist. This contract opportunity focuses on ensuring patient safety, supporting the surgical team, and maintaining a sterile environment for optimal outcomes.

Schedule:

• 13-week contract
• 5 shifts per week, 8 hours each
• Mids: 11:00am–7:30pm

Qualifications & Experience:

• Certification as a Surgical Technologist (ORT)
• BLS certification (Current)
• NTCMB certification required
• Experience assisting with a range of surgical procedures
• Strong understanding of sterile technique and operating room protocols
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare operating rooms and arrange necessary supplies and equipment prior to each procedure
• Maintain strict aseptic technique and monitor the sterile field at all times
• Assist surgeons and nurses by passing instruments and anticipating their needs during surgery
• Perform surgical counts to ensure accuracy and safety throughout procedures
• Facilitate proper care, cleaning, and maintenance of surgical instruments post-operation
• Collaborate with surgical and nursing staff to enhance workflow and patient care
