• Anticipate the needs of the surgical team and promptly provide required instruments or materials.
• Handle specimens as directed, ensuring accurate labeling and transfer for further laboratory analysis.
• Support patient safety efforts by adhering to infection control protocols and facility guidelines.
• Perform equipment checks and arrange for immediate troubleshooting or maintenance as necessary.
• Complete relevant documentation promptly, ensuring procedural efficiency and information integrity.

Qualifications Desired:

• Experience as a Surgical Technologist or in an OR nursing support role.
• Non-certified and certified Surgical Techs are encouraged to apply; current certification (CST) is preferred, but not required.
• Knowledge of best practices in sterile technique and surgical environment protocols.
