• Previous experience as a Surgical Technologist (certified or non-certified), or in Operating Room Technology
• Solid understanding of sterile techniques and surgical instrumentation

• Strong communication and collaboration skills with surgeons, nurses, and support staff
• Demonstrated reliability and commitment to quality patient care
• Current compliance with healthcare facility immunization requirements and health screenings

Responsibilities:

• Assist surgical teams throughout procedures, ensuring all instruments and supplies are readily available and sterile
• Prepare operating rooms before surgical interventions, including equipment setup and sterile field creation
• Maintain accurate count of sponges, needles, and instruments during procedures
• Actively anticipate the needs of the surgical team and respond promptly during surgeries
• Support post-operative room turnover and instrument processing
• Contribute to a safe, organized, and smooth-flowing surgical environment
