• In-depth knowledge of surgical instruments, procedures, and safety standards.
• Strong organizational and adaptability skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare operating rooms by ensuring equipment, instruments, and supplies are set up and sterilized appropriately.
• Assist surgical teams by passing instruments, maintaining a sterile field, and managing specimens as directed.
• Monitor and maintain infection control standards at all times.
• Anticipate the needs of the surgical team during operations.
• Collaborate with nurses and other healthcare staff to support patient care before, during, and after surgical procedures.
• Handle post-operative clean-up and preparation for subsequent cases.
