Operating Room Technician in West Chester, OH

Qualifications:

• Experience as a Surgical Technician (Non-certified) or Operating Room Technician (ORT)
• Familiarity with sterilization procedures and infection control protocols
• Strong organizational and communication abilities
• Ability to anticipate surgical team needs and remain calm under pressure
• Attention to detail and adherence to established best practices in the OR
• Previous experience in an operating room setting required

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare operating rooms for surgical procedures by setting up equipment and instruments
• Assist surgical staff during operations, ensuring a sterile field and passing instruments as needed
• Monitor and track surgical instruments and supplies before, during, and after surgery
• Help transport patients and maintain accurate documentation of surgical procedures
• Clean and restock operating rooms and ensure readiness for subsequent procedures
