Travel Operating Room Technician - Whitesboro, New York

Schedule/Hours:

• Four 10-hour shifts, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• On-call responsibilities required
• One weekend shift per month

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years’ current experience as a Surgical Tech
• National certification: NBSTSA or NCCT (or grandfathered based on experience)
• Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Scrub experience required
• Demonstrated trauma and neuro case experience
• Proficient with DaVinci robotics preferred
• Ability to work with all patient age groups, pediatric through adult

Core Responsibilities:

• Assist surgeons during operative and invasive procedures
• Set up and operate equipment such as the DaVinci robot
• Maintain sterile field and monitor aseptic techniques
• Document surgical procedures in the Epic EMR system
• Provide optimal patient care to a diverse population
