Schedule/Hours:

  • Shifts: 07:00 – 17:30
  • Includes weekend and night call requirements

Desired Qualifications:

  • Active NY RN license
  • Minimum of 2 years of cath lab, procedural, or sedation experience
  • Strong cardiovascular nursing skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
  • Adaptability to new environments and evolving patient care protocols

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide assessment, monitoring, and intervention for cardiac procedures such as left and right heart catheterization, coronary stents, balloon valvuloplasty, pericardiocentesis, structural heart procedures, intra-aortic balloon pumps, Impella, and EKOS
  • Serve as a vital member of the Emergency On-Call (STEMI) team
  • Administer oral and intravenous medications safely, monitoring for adverse reactions during sedation
  • Educate patients and families about post-procedure care, medications, and lifestyle considerations
  • Manage documentation including patient consents, charting, lab results, and procedural notes
  • Collaborate with physicians and allied health professionals to deliver optimal patient care
