Experienced registered nurses with a strong Cath Lab background are invited to take on an impactful role providing specialized care in a dynamic setting. This contract opportunity requires dedication, adaptability, and clinical expertise to deliver high-quality patient care during cardiac catheterization procedures. Candidates should expect a fast-paced environment, working alongside a collaborative and expert team.

Schedule:

  • 10-hour shifts, 4 days per week
  • On-call commitment required: 10 days per month (with a minimum of 4 weekend days, including Friday, Saturday, and Sunday)

Qualifications:

  • Active and unencumbered RN license
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience working as a Cath Lab nurse
  • BLS and ACLS certifications
  • Proficiency in cardiac catheterization procedures, hemodynamic monitoring, and care of post-procedure patients
  • Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills
  • Previous traveler experience preferred but not required

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist interventional cardiologists and technologists in all cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures
  • Monitor patient status and vital signs throughout procedures
  • Provide pre- and post-procedure patient care, including assessments, education, and discharge planning
  • Maintain sterile fields, manage supplies/equipment, and ensure procedure room readiness
  • Respond promptly to emergency situations with professionalism and efficiency
  • Adhere to infection control protocols and facility safety standards
