Required Qualifications:
- Unencumbered RN license
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Cath Lab RN
- Advanced knowledge of cardiac catheterization procedures, protocols, and equipment
- Proven ability to manage patients pre-, intra-, and post-procedure
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct patient care during cardiac catheterizations, angioplasties, and other interventional procedures
- Monitor patient vital signs and document all care accurately
- Prepare and maintain the Cath Lab equipment and sterile field
- Administer medications as directed and monitor for adverse reactions
- Educate patients and families on procedures and recovery
- Uphold infection control and patient safety standards at all times
- Respond quickly to emergencies and assist with resuscitation if needed
