Qualifications/Desired Experience:

  • Current and unencumbered RN license
  • Minimum of one year of recent experience working in a Cath Lab setting
  • BLS and ACLS certification required
  • Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
  • Experience with hemodynamic monitoring, vascular access, and managing conscious sedation preferred
  • Ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and provide exceptional patient care

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver expert nursing care during cardiac catheterization, angioplasties, stent placements, and other Cath Lab procedures
  • Monitor patient status before, during, and after procedures, ensuring safety and immediate response to any complications
  • Prepare and maintain sterile fields, ensuring compliance with infection control protocols
  • Administer medications, manage IVs, and document all care accurately in patient records
  • Serve as a resource and support for patients and families, providing education and emotional reassurance
  • Collaborate with physicians and fellow healthcare providers to support optimal outcomes
