Key Qualifications:
- Active RN license (Massachusetts or compact)
- Minimum of one year recent experience in a Cath Lab setting
- Proficient in assisting with cardiac catheterization, angioplasty, stenting, and other interventional procedures
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Solid critical thinking and communication skills
- Familiarity with patient monitoring systems and sterile techniques
Major Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care for patients undergoing cardiac catheterization and related procedures
- Monitor patient status before, during, and after procedures, ensuring safety and comfort
- Prepare and maintain equipment and supplies within the lab
- Collaborate with cardiologists, techs, and other medical staff to deliver optimal patient care
- Document procedures and maintain accurate patient records
