Qualifications and Experience:
- Active credentials: BLS, ACLS, and CVT with RCIS certification
- At least 4 years of direct Cath Lab experience
- Skillful in scrubbing cases, room turnover, transporting patients, and manifold operations
- Proficient with balloon pump setup and operation
- Willingness to float as needed to the OR for vascular procedures, or to other Cath Labs upon occasion
- Adaptability to various procedures and facility protocols
- First-time travelers may be considered upon review
Schedule and Setting:
- Contract position supporting the Cath Lab
- Flexibility required to float to additional locations based on patient care needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with and scrub a variety of Cath Lab procedures, supporting physicians and cardiac teams
- Operate and troubleshoot cardiac balloon pumps
- Ensure timely room turnover and maintain a sterile field
- Safely transport patients within the facility
- Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams to ensure stellar patient care
- Uphold standards for documentation, compliance, and quality assurance
