As a Cath Lab Registered Nurse in this travel role, you’ll grow your clinical skills while working closely with cardiac experts, utilizing advanced technology to deliver outstanding patient care. Schedule/Hours:
- Full-time, travel assignment
- Shifts may include weekdays with rotating on-call
Qualifications:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (compact or KS-specific)
- Minimum of 2 years’ recent experience in a Cath Lab environment
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills
- Experience working with diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures preferred
Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing care during cardiac catheterization procedures
- Assess, monitor, and document patient status before, during, and after procedures
- Collaborate with physicians, technologists, and other healthcare staff
- Maintain strict adherence to infection control and safety protocols
- Ensure accurate updates of electronic medical records
- Educate patients and families on procedures, recovery, and post-discharge care
