Schedule/Hours:
- May require floating to other departments within scope
- Potential for on-call hours during regular shifts
Qualifications / Experience:
- Valid RN license with eligibility in the state of Colorado
- Recent critical care or cath lab nursing experience strongly preferred
- Proficient with cardiac catheterization lab procedures and equipment
- Strong assessment, documentation, and care planning abilities
- Ability to teach, counsel, and communicate effectively with patients and team members
- Flexibility to adapt to new settings and rapidly changing environments
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
Responsibilities:
- Perform independent and delegated nursing functions in accordance with scope of practice
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate comprehensive patient care in the cath lab setting
- Provide supportive and restorative therapies directly or through teaching, consultation, and supervision
- Document accurately in accordance with hospital and regulatory requirements
- Refer patients for further evaluation or treatment as needed
- Monitor and review therapy/treatment plans, utilizing available resources
