Qualifications / Experience:
- Current and unencumbered RN license
- At least 1 year of recent Cath Lab experience preferred
- BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA)
- Strong critical thinking, time management, and communication skills
- Ability to adapt to fast-paced, changing clinical environments
Responsibilities:
- Deliver safe and timely nursing care for patients undergoing cardiac catheterization procedures
- Monitor patient status pre-, intra-, and post-procedure
- Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional procedures
- Safely administer medications and monitor IVs
- Provide education and emotional support to patients and families
- Maintain detailed and accurate clinical documentation
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to ensure positive patient outcomes
