Qualifications & Experience:

• Active RN license with authorization to practice
• Proven experience working in a Cardiac Catheterization Lab
• Demonstrated expertise in monitoring, sedating, and caring for patients during diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures
• Comprehensive understanding of cardiac pharmacology and emergency protocols
• Current certifications in BLS and ACLS
• Excellent communication, critical thinking, and teamwork abilities
• Ability to adapt efficiently in high-pressure, fast-paced clinical situations

Responsibilities:

• Provide top-tier nursing care throughout all phases of cardiac catheterization procedures, including patient preparation, intra-procedure monitoring, and recovery
• Safeguard patient safety by diligently tracking vital signs and promptly responding to any clinical changes
• Administer conscious sedation and medications per provider directives
• Collaborate effectively with physicians, technologists, and fellow team members to ensure smooth, safe procedural flow
• Maintain strict adherence to sterile field techniques and universal infection control protocols
• Meticulously document assessments, interventions, and patient responses in electronic medical records
• Contribute to patient and family education about procedures, recovery expectations, and ongoing cardiac wellness
