An exciting opportunity is available for experienced Registered Nurses with a background in Cath Lab procedures. This travel RN assignment involves providing exceptional care and support during cardiac catheterization and related procedures, ensuring optimal patient outcomes under a dynamic and collaborative team.

Schedule:

  • Four 10-hour day shifts per week
  • On-call required (exact details provided during phone interview)

Qualifications:

  • Active FL RN license or Compact RN license
  • BLS and ACLS certifications (must be current)
  • Proven experience in a Cath Lab setting as a Registered Nurse
  • College diploma or transcripts
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Submitted candidates must not be permanent residents of Broward, Dade, or Palm Beach counties

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide nursing care for patients undergoing cardiac catheterization procedures
  • Monitor patient status before, during, and after procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort
  • Prepare rooms, equipment, and supplies for invasive cardiac procedures
  • Collaborate closely with physicians, technicians, and ancillary staff
  • Respond quickly to emergencies and rapidly changing patient conditions
  • Participate in and follow established protocols and safety standards
  • Document all care delivered in accordance with facility requirements
