Qualifications:

• Active FL RN or compact RN license
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• College diploma or transcripts required
• Specialized experience in Cath Lab nursing strongly preferred
• Candidates must not be permanent residents of Broward, Dade, or Palm Beach counties
• Excellent clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work well within an interdisciplinary team and respond swiftly in urgent situations

Responsibilities:

• Deliver safe, effective patient care during pre-, intra-, and post-catheterization procedures
• Maintain and operate specialized equipment used in cath lab procedures
• Prepare patients for procedures, assess their status, and provide detailed explanations to patients and families
• Collaborate with physicians, techs, and other RNs to ensure optimal outcomes
• Assist in monitoring patient vitals and promptly recognize and address changes in condition
• Accurately document all aspects of nursing care and interventions as per protocol
• Participate in on-call rotations, responding efficiently to emergent cases
