Registered Nurse - Catheterization Lab in Brookfield, WI

Step into a vital nursing position in a dynamic Cath Lab environment, providing exceptional care with a team dedicated to clinical excellence. This contract opportunity focuses on supporting interventional cardiology procedures and care coordination throughout the patient cycle.

Available Shift Details:

• 8-hour shifts: 0600-1430, 1100-1930, 1200-2030
• 12-hour shifts: 0600-1830
• Standard 40-hour workweek

Preferred Qualifications:

• Valid RN license with experience in a Cath Lab setting
• Proficiency with cardiac monitoring, hemodynamic assessments, and assisting in interventional procedures
• ACLS and BLS certifications
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Adaptability to respond quickly to acute clinical changes
• Detail-oriented, with a commitment to evidence-based patient care

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care throughout the continuum of cardiac procedures
• Collaborate with physicians and allied health professionals during diagnostic and interventional cases
• Monitor equipment, document patient status, and administer medications as directed
• Participate in peri-procedural patient education and post-procedure follow-up
• Respond effectively to emergencies and changes in patient condition
• Maintain strict infection control practices

Additional Role Details:

• Call required for permanent staff every 2-3 months, Fri–Fri (rotation can be flexible upon discussion)
• Some weekend and holiday coverage may be necessary, depending on departmental needs
• No floating requirements
