Schedule:
- Four 10-hour shifts per week (7:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.)
- Call requirements after orientation: 12–15 days per six-week schedule, including two weekends with 24-hour availability
- Weekday call: 5:30 a.m. – 7:00 a.m.; Weekend call: 7:00 a.m. – 7:00 a.m.
Desired Qualifications:
- Active PA State board-approved RN license
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (required)
- Experience with congenital heart disease and advanced pediatric assessment
- Ability to provide care for critically ill patients from neonate through adolescence
Essential Responsibilities:
- Review patient histories, medications, allergies, and consent forms
- Prepare cath lab rooms and ensure all medications, equipment, and emergency supplies are ready
- Circulate and scrub during procedures; operate POC testing equipment and assist with contrast administration
- Collaborate with physicians and team members during procedures
- Respond promptly to emergency situations, maintaining sterile technique throughout
