This 13-week travel assignment for experienced Cath Lab Registered Nurses provides a unique opportunity to diversify your resume and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team. Exposure to varied workplace practices and strong leadership approaches will help expand your expertise and boost your career. During your downtime, discover Charleston’s historic downtown, iconic architecture, stunning beaches, and world-class dining.
Schedule/Hours:
- Monday to Friday, 7:30 am – 6:00 pm
- Call requirements will be discussed in detail during the interview
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver expert care in the Cath Lab; assist with cardiac cath procedures and patient monitoring
- Flexibility to float, covering Cath/EP and intra-procedure TEE/CV roles if needed (mostly focused on procedure documentation, timeout, circulating)
- Collaborate with physicians, technologists, and clinical staff to maintain optimal patient safety and procedural efficiency
- Timely and accurate completion of documentation and procedural tracking
- Provide support and circulate as needed for minor tasks during intra-procedure TEE/CVs
Qualifications:
- Active RN license with strong Cath Lab experience
- Previous Cath/EP Lab experience required
- Ability to work efficiently during procedures with high attention to detail
- Flexibility to float as needed; comfort with minor intra-procedure responsibilities
- Scrubbing experience is a plus
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
