Step into a dynamic nursing role in a modern prep/recovery unit serving patients post-cardiac catheterization, vascular, and electrophysiology procedures. This contract position offers a supportive weekday environment, perfect for nurses seeking to expand their expertise in a collaborative setting.

Schedule:

  • 8-hour day shifts
  • Monday to Friday, 7:00 am – 3:00 pm
  • No weekend rotation
  • Major holidays off

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality nursing care to PACU patients following cath, vascular, and EP procedures
  • Closely monitor and assess patient status throughout recovery phase
  • Respond promptly to changes in condition, ensuring optimal post-procedural outcomes
  • Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and interdisciplinary team members
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with best practices
  • Support efficient patient flow and prioritize safety in the prep/recovery unit
  • May float to electrophysiology and procedural areas as department needs arise (details shared in interview)

Qualifications:

  • Active RN license required
  • At least 2 years of recent experience in critical care, PACU, or CCU settings is mandatory
  • Demonstrated expertise in rapid patient assessment and post-procedure recovery care
  • Strong communication, organization, and critical thinking skills
  • Cardiac catheterization lab experience preferred

$2,662 - $2,816/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
